Head of Marketing

– Jointly Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area

About Jointly Jointly helps the real estate industry operate with greater efficiency, accuracy, and trust by integrating intelligence into forms, automating compliance, and enabling real‑time collaboration. Our platform is trusted by leading teams, brokerages, MLSs, and associations to power life’s largest financial transaction.

About the Role Jointly is looking for a Head of Marketing who will own how the company shows up in the world. This is a builder role. You will start as a team of one, execute, decide, and ship. Over time, you will design the marketing function and scale it thoughtfully as the company grows. Brand, demand generation, events, product marketing, content, inbound, SEO, lifecycle – all roll up to you.

A Day in the Life

Owning Jointly’s brand and narrative across all touchpoints: website, sales materials, content, product launches, and public presence.

Translating complex product capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions for different audiences.

Building and executing demand generation programs that drive real sales pipeline, not vanity metrics.

Leading product marketing efforts including launches, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement.

Developing a content and SEO strategy that compounds over time and earns attention through usefulness and quality.

Planning and executing events and partnerships that create engagement and lead to affinity with the right audiences.

Collaborating closely with sales, product, and leadership to ensure alignment between what we build, what we say, and what we sell.

Establishing, configuring, and maintaining the systems, tools, and metrics that will eventually support a scaled marketing team.

Who You Are

You think in outcomes, not activities. You care about what works.

You’re comfortable being early, scrappy, and visible, and you know how to evolve into scale.

You learn by doing and think from first principles. You form your own point of view by using the product, not by absorbing tribal lore.

You have strong judgment and taste in language, positioning, and timing.

You can write clearly and decisively. You know when fewer words win.

You can easily spot AI‑filler and abhor it.

You’re curious enough to learn a complex industry and disciplined enough to simplify it.

You manage yourself well. You don’t need heavy process to move forward.

Experience in SaaS, real estate, or a fast‑growing startup is helpful, but not as important as demonstrated ownership and good decisions.
