Head of Communications / Operations at Lack + Daily - Marketing Recruiting Experts with a focus on CPG and Beyond Long Beach, CA

Hybrid: 3 days in office per week

Our client is an industry leading, ~$115 M dermo‑cosmetic brand that provides transformational skin‑care products clinically formulated to minimize signs of skin aging, address dark spots, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles.

We are seeking a results‑driven

VP of Growth/Head of eCommerce

to oversee the management, daily operations, and growth of our online store. This role will be pivotal in fully owning the channel’s P&L, driving sales, optimizing user experience, and ensuring seamless operations of the e‑commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital/performance marketing, e‑commerce best practices, and a passion for leveraging data to enhance business outcomes and ensure a seamless consumer journey from acquisition to retention.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; a focus in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or similar related fields strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success managing e‑commerce businesses and strong understanding of supply chain management and order fulfillment processes.

Prior experience within CPG/beauty industry/skincare highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of Shopify, MMM/MTA analytics tools and most used apps and integrations on the Shopify ecosystem.

Deep understanding of UX/UI best practices and digital marketing techniques, including paid social, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.

Familiarity with tools for A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Creative, data‑driven mindset with an ability to develop both strategic and tactical solutions, understand data analytics and performance reporting (Google Analytics, Excel, etc.).

Strong qualitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of analysis and metrics to drive continuous improvement and decision making.

Exceptional organizational and prioritization/time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever‑changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data management, CDP systems, and other technologies.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel required with a strong emphasis on data analysis tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).

Experience with HTML/CSS for landing page customization highly preferred but not required.

Possess a curious, resourceful, and proactive attitude that encourages a team and supports the growth and professional development of others.
