ServiceNow Pre‑Sales Architect – Job Description
Department: ServiceNow Professional Services / Solutions Architecture
Reports To: Head of ServiceNow Practice or VP, Professional Services
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a ServiceNow Pre‑Sales Architect to serve as the technical authority in the sales cycle, partnering closely with sales, delivery, and practice leadership to cement value with prospective customers and lead technical conversations with confidence and credibility.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and execution—translating customer business challenges into compelling ServiceNow solutions that are technically sound, scalable, and aligned to best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective customers
Translate customer requirements into ServiceNow solution architectures and roadmaps
Serve as the technical face of engagements
Articulate ServiceNow value propositions tied to business outcomes
Design end‑to‑end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, SPM, HRSD, CMDB, Now Assist AI, and integrations
Define target‑state architectures and integration patterns
Ensure alignment with best practices
Identify technical risks
Support RFPs, RFIs, and SOWs
Partner with sales on pricing models
Support executive presentations and demos
Transition to Delivery:
Ensure smooth handoff to delivery teams
Participate in kickoffs
Act as an escalation point
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years ServiceNow experience
Pre‑sales or consulting background
Strong architecture and communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Very strong communications skills both oral and written
Seniority level
