
Summary
The position is responsible for sales and operations for export/import cargo, handling logistics operation.
Education
Training in, and/or knowledge of export/import logistics and ability to operate cargo.
Bachelor’s degree from 4 years college or university and more than 3 years related experience and/or training.
Physical Requirement and Working Environment
Work time is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM including lunch time from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
The staff Member must be able to work overtime when necessary.
Sometime we ask the staff member to go to business trip within domestic.
Responsibilities
Sales activity to new and existing key accounts.
Visit customer and do sales of our logistic service
Create and send quotation to the customers
Overall customer service
Attend loading/ unloading of shipment at the port facility, warehouse, customers site etc
Coordinate shipment with our operation stuff
Manage import and export process and ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign government laws and regulations, make sure no violation for all import and export.
Prepare all required import and export documents.
Foresee the movement of goods for domestic and overseas delivery.
Plan and track shipment as per required for both domestic and overseas shipment, handle issues with customs officials if any.
Coordinate transportation activities to ensure timely delivery to meet drop‑dead dates
Leads the carrier selection and negotiation process; establishes and maintains contractual and business relationships with the carriers; monitors contract compliance; solves
operational issues with vendors.
Follow company policies and regulations.
Performs other miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a forwarding company, then to keep in touch with export/import operation.
Expertise in import and export regulations are a must.
Experience in contract and rate negotiations with sub‑contractor.
Experience in Transportation Management System International & Domestic
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, able to multi task and communicate with all levels of personnel both internal and external of the company.
Ability to work well in multicultural, international environment with global colleagues.
Self‑motivated self‑starter.
Detail oriented.
