We are partnering with a highly ranked Am Law 100 firm to find a Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate with strong experience representing lenders in complex commercial property finance transactions. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their work with major financial institutions and sophisticated real estate capital markets clients in a premier national practice.

Description In this position, the Associate will work closely with commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, debt funds, and other regulated and non‑regulated lenders on a wide range of commercial real estate finance transactions. The role involves supporting clients through all stages of loan origination secured by commercial properties, reviewing and analyzing key diligence materials such as title, survey, and lease documentation, and ensuring transactions align with regulatory, structural, and market standards.

You will have the opportunity to work on both traditional senior secured lending and, depending on experience, mezzanine financings, loan participations, syndications, and securitizations. The team environment is highly collaborative, offering meaningful exposure to market‑leading deals and opportunities for substantial skill development in a fast‑moving, sophisticated practice.

Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school Admission to practice in the jurisdiction of the role (or ability to waive in) Experience representing commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, debt funds, or similar lenders in financing commercial properties Hands‑on experience conducting due diligence on title, survey, leases, and other commercial real estate documents Experience working on the origination of loans secured by commercial properties Exposure to mezzanine loans, CMBS, CRE CLOs, loan securitization, or loan syndication is strongly preferred Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a high‑performing environment Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with sophisticated institutional clients
