Bachelors of Finance or Accounting - Preferred Experience
2-3 Years Occupancy Specialist - Preferred License & Certification
Certified Occupancy Specialist - Preferred Certified Apartment Management - Preferred Certified Management Occupancy Review - Preferred Core Job Functions
Compiles information and verifies income, assets and medical expenses to compute rent for initial move-in/ move-out and for annual and interim recertification. Meets with applicants/residents, inputs into HUD program, produces lease and multiple HUD required forms to complete move-in and explains HUD expectations and regulations. Examines new apartment for any defects, explains apartment features and property House Rules. Runs EIV reports according to HUD guidelines and timelines, and files EIV reports appropriately. Tracks EIV discrepancies and outcomes. Keeps resident information filed in established order in every file for auditors. Combines all records to compile HUD reports for HAP vouchers and Service Coordinator grants. Collects Service Coordinator receipts and submits for reimbursement. Ensures all documentation is in compliance with HUD 4350 documentation for Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs). Assigns parking spaces to residents. Verifies current vehicle registration information, current auto insurance and maintains records in residents' files. Hears resident appeals in response to lease violations and/or Notices to Vacate.
