
Senior HR Business Partner

Senior HR Business Partner perform a specialized type of HR work focused on HR consulting to the business including: HR consulting and coaching (e.g., working with business leaders to solve significant people and cultural issues, provides expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment including hiring, termination, performance management, rewards, etc.). Enabling business change (e.g., supporting the talent aspects of organization structure changes, talent integration related to mergers & acquisitions, etc.). HR program advocacy (e.g., communicating the business value of HR initiatives, managing HR program roll out to minimize business disruption, etc.). Partnering with the business and talent management/staffing and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, hi-potential employee development, succession planning, etc.). Progressive HR experience, including demonstrated career growth (e.g., increasing scope, influence, and strategic responsibility). Proven experience operating as a true strategic HRBP, not solely in HR operations. Ability to independently support leaders, drive talent strategy, and influence decision making. Highly desired experience working in matrixed global organization, with the ability to navigate complex reporting structures, partner across multiple functions, and manage competing priorities. A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
Strategy leadership: In consultation with Director, Senior HRBP, set and implement local people plan, including culture, competence, and organization.
Capability Planning/ workforce Planning: Ensure people and organizational capabilities required in the mid-long term are understood and actioned ensuring that the business and organizational positions in the short term are adequately staffed to meet or exceed the annual business targets.
Organization Design: Ensure organizational structures and principles in line with company rules and standards—including the Hitachi Energy Job Structure
Performance Management: Build performance culture in the organization; Goals and targets are set to enhance business performance; Identify performance issues and take actions close collaboration with HBU HRBP; Recognize and reward high performance in individuals and teams.
Competence Development: Implement learning and development activities to build and improve competence.
Talent Management: In close collaboration with Talent Partners, set and implement strategies and actions to ensure a healthy and sustainable talent structure in the organization, including recruitment, identification and succession planning on business-critical positions, diversity and inclusion; Assess risks and coordinate actions to mitigate risks.
Remuneration / Competitiveness: In collaboration with the Director, Senior HRBP, decide competitiveness position and compensation elements based on business need; Monitor staffing cost development in the business and take corrective actions when needed.
Change Management: Decide on change management need to support business strategy and plan; Implement necessary measures and actions to facilitate change, including communication, reorganization, performance management, motivation, recognition.
Safety & Integrity: Implement and promote Health and Safety and business compliance standards and regulations. Embody the Hitachi Energy and Company safety standards.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
10+ years (minimum) of experience as HRBP.
Proficiency in MS Office applications required.
Experience with Workday preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to organize multiple activities which require close attention to detail.
Critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to appropriately manage confidential and sensitive information.
