
Overview
The Regional Director of Sales, Outdoors will build and lead a new sales function for EOS Hospitality’s growing Outdoors portfolio, which includes destination-driven outdoor resorts, RV resorts, and experiential lodging properties across the Southeast. The ideal candidate would be located in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role and represents the first dedicated sales hire supporting the Outdoors division. Initially, this role will focus on personally driving group, partnership, and destination-based business, establishing relationships, creating demand, and proving the value of a dedicated Outdoors sales function. Success in this role requires a self-starter with hospitality sales experience, comfort working independently in the early stages, and the ability to transition from individual contributor to sales leader as the business grows. Key Responsibilities
Proactively prospect, solicit, and close new group and partnership business across multiple Outdoors properties. Conduct on-site visits, sales tours, client presentations, and community networking to drive bookings. Identify and pursue opportunities with group organizers, rally groups, and regional partners across Southeast markets. Support multiple EOS Outdoors properties, with a primary focus on Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach. Strategically balance flagship property needs while identifying incremental demand opportunities at other locations. Develop and maintain sales forecasts, booking pace reports, and tactical sales plans. Provide regular reporting and performance updates to property leadership and ownership, including insights on trends and growth opportunities. Monitor industry and market trends to inform sales strategy and recommend revenue-driving initiatives. Establish and grow relationships with planners, partners, and key accounts to expand market penetration. Serve as a brand ambassador, representing EOS Hospitality’s service philosophy in all client interactions. Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Revenue teams to align sales efforts and avoid duplication. Contribute to the development and execution of annual Sales & Marketing Plans. Justify and plan for future sales hires through demonstrated performance and revenue growth. Eventually recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing sales team as the function scales. Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of hospitality sales experience, including hands-on selling and leadership responsibilities. 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major preferred Proven ability to operate independently and build new programs, processes, or teams. Strong track record of prospecting, closing business, and managing key accounts. Experience supporting multiple properties or markets preferred. Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort wearing multiple hats in a growth-stage environment. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules as needed. Strong problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills May be required to work varying schedules and be able to travel Strong customer and colleague relation skills Qualifications
