Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner – Wealth Management (Account Opening & Client Onboarding)

Location Dallas Texas

Experience 10–15+ years (with strong Wealth Management domain exposure)

Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner with deep domain expertise in Wealth Management account opening and digital client onboarding platforms. The role will partner closely with business stakeholders, compliance, operations, and technology teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and client-centric onboarding solutions across brokerage, advisory, and managed accounts.

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Product Ownership Act as a Product Owner / Lead BA for Wealth Management

Account Opening and Client Onboarding platforms , owning requirements from concept through delivery.

Wealth Management & Onboarding Expertise Drive solutions across digital and assisted account opening, including:

Individual, Joint, Trust, IRA, Corporate, and Advisory accounts

KYC / AML / CIP / KYB workflows

Suitability, risk profiling, and client disclosures

Document capture, e-signature, and verification

Deep understanding of brokerage and advisory onboarding journeys, including straight-through processing (STP) and exception handling.

Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure adherence to SEC, FINRA, FATCA, CRS, and regional regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.

Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design intuitive, compliant, and frictionless onboarding experiences.

Support Agile delivery ceremonies including PI planning, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and UAT.

Lead UAT planning, execution, and defect triage with business and operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience Domain & Functional Expertise 10+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in Wealth Management / Capital Markets.

Strong hands-on experience with Account Opening or Client Onboarding platforms (digital or advisor-assisted).

In-depth knowledge of:

Brokerage & advisory business models

Client lifecycle management

Regulatory-driven onboarding controls

Technical & Delivery Skills Proven experience working in

Agile / SAFe environments

as a PO or Lead BA.

Strong documentation skills: BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, data mappings.

Experience working with

core brokerage platforms , onboarding vendors, or custom-built solutions.

Ability to work closely with engineering teams to clarify requirements and support solution design.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large Wealth Management firms, broker-dealers, or advisory platforms through IT Consulting firms.

Exposure to digital transformation or platform modernization initiatives.
