Motio’s Power BI Sales team supports customers across the US. The individual in this role will accelerate their learning by working alongside the team’s Senior Enterprise Sales Executive and partnering closely with Marketing, gaining deep expertise in SaaS software sales for Power BI within a high-performing, world-class sales organization.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for identifying and contacting prospective clients. The Business Development Representative is responsible for responding to inbound requests, cold-calling into prospect companies—including new and existing clients, qualifying potential opportunities, and scheduling initial product presentations between prospects and our sales team.
You will be assigned to a senior sales representative who will teach you all the aspects of the profession. Further, you will follow the Motio Sales Education Program to grow in all the fundamentals of the sales process and practice the required skills.
Over time, the Sales Associate will also be conducting product demonstrations for prospective customers and will develop into a product expert and advocate, integral in the continued growth of Motio products in existing and new markets.
Responsibilities
Identifies, qualifies, and cultivates new sales opportunities through multiple mediums (email, phone, conferences, inbound website leads, and more).
Maintain a high level of attention to detail managing all respective sales activities (notes, follow-ups, emails, call logs) within Motio’s CRM tool.
Respond to inquiries via chat, email, incoming and outbound calls.
Responsible for achieving aggressive weekly targets such as number of qualified opportunities per campaign, number of daily activities/tasks, call quality, appointment setting, and sales skills.

Requirements
Bachelor or Master Degree
0-1 years of sales-related experience, preferably in a B2B environment and “sales-minded”
Experience with high-volume prospecting through email marketing and cold calling
Enthusiasm for and familiarity with Business Intelligence & Analytics, Financial processes, and reporting
Great verbal and written communication skills
Confident, assertive self-starter who is extremely organized and goal-driven
Team player
Ability to learn and think quickly
High-volume cold-calling experience preferredProficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
