Golf Course Superintendent
to lead agronomic operations at one of Southwest Florida’s most scenic and member-focused golf clubs.

About the Role The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and performance of the golf course and grounds, ensuring outstanding playing conditions while operating within approved financial and environmental guidelines.
You will work collaboratively with club leadership and Heritage Golf Group’s agronomy support team to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of golf course maintenance, agronomy, and grounds operations
Develop and execute agronomic plans, including fertility, irrigation, and pest management programs
Manage, train, mentor, and motivate the agronomy team
Prepare and manage departmental budgets, labor planning, and expense controls
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Oversee irrigation systems, equipment maintenance, and capital planning
Communicate effectively with the General Manager, Golf Professional staff, and members
Maintain strong attention to detail and pride in course presentation
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent ready to advance
Strong leadership skills with a positive, team-first mindset
Knowledge of warm-season turfgrass management (preferred)
Budgeting and financial acumen
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to lead by example with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach
GCSAA membership preferred
Florida pesticide license (or ability to obtain)
