What you’ll be doing Marketing Administrator
duties include developing and implementing social media strategies, coordinating marketing projects, and supporting outreach and partnerships. TourismOhio, within the Ohio Department of Development, is hiring to market Ohio as a premier place to explore, start a family, pursue education, do business, and live your best life.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement social media strategies and content to promote TourismOhio.
Manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders to support program performance.
Coordinate marketing projects and deliverables across internal teams and external partners.
Plan and execute major events and activations, including Ohio Tourism Day.
Organize and manage partner content submissions for campaigns, publications, and promotions.
Provide communications and logistical support for advocacy outreach and advisory board activities.
Support research efforts, including procurement of county-level economic impact data and vendor coordination.
Serve as liaison to industry partners, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
Uphold the Department of Development’s customer service standards.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism OR equivalent work experience in one of the areas listed.
3-5 years demonstrated work experience in a marketing/communications related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience handling social media marketing for an organization.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Skilled in the use of a personal computer using word processing and presentation software.
