$33.52 What You'll Do

Processing and investigating excavation damage related complaints as they are received Collecting case information via phone and email and preparing investigation reports for the UTC Clearly and promptly conveying UTC decisions and rulings to complainants and respondents Tracking and monitoring case files to ensure timely processing Verifying investigations for completeness and accuracy before submission Maintaining case files in the PUCO damage prevention database (Salesforce), ensuring data integrity and accessibility Providing case files to UTC members ahead of scheduled meetings Assisting the UTC Coordinator with meeting preparation and documentation Monitoring damage prevention registrations and serving as a technical advisor on registration requirements Reporting Location

Reporting location: 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215, Franklin County Work Environment

PUCO core hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; start/end times may vary by department. On-site presence is common; flextime options may be available with supervisor approval. Salary Information

Completion of undergraduate core program or 2 years of experience in fields such as accounting, utility/transportation code enforcement, finance, public administration, economics, engineering, etc. This includes 2 years of utility/transportation regulatory experience in areas including PUCO operations, rate structures, enforcement, and related fields.
