Role Overview We're looking for a strategic, execution‑oriented Content Strategist to own and scale content production across Nium's marketing engine. You will partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Communications, and Regional Marketing to define content plans, manage an integrated content calendar, and deliver high‑quality B2B content that drives awareness, demand, and conversion across our priority segments: Banks & FIs, Fintechs & PSPs, Marketplaces & Platforms, and Global Payroll/EOR providers.

This role sits at the center of Nium's content operations—translating complex fintech infrastructure into clear, compelling narratives across written content, video, web experiences, and multimedia formats. You'll write key content yourself while orchestrating internal teams (design, web development, communications) and external partners (agencies, freelancers) to meet aggressive timelines and quality standards.

You'll also lead the development and launch of several new content series (written and video) designed to build thought leadership, drive engagement, and support pipeline generation across regions and verticals.

Responsibilities

Define and own content plans

in partnership with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Communications, and Regional Marketing.

Build and maintain an integrated content calendar

that aligns production with product launches, campaigns, events, and GTM priorities across regions and segments.

Identify content gaps and opportunities

based on buyer insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data—ensuring content supports the full buyer journey.

Track content performance

and continuously optimize the content mix based on engagement metrics and business outcomes.

Write high‑quality B2B content

including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, website copy, thought leadership articles, sales enablement materials, and executive messaging—translating complex technical concepts into clear narratives for diverse audiences.

Lead the development of new content series

(written and video) designed to build thought leadership and drive pipeline—owning ideation, scripting, production coordination, and distribution.

Oversee video content production , including scripting, coordinating with internal/external resources, and managing post‑production workflows.

Operate as the central orchestrator

of content production—managing workflows, tracking deliverables, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring on‑time delivery across multiple concurrent projects.

Partner with internal teams

including design, web development, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Communications, and Regional Marketing to produce market‑facing assets and ensure strategic alignment.

Manage relationships with content and research agencies, freelance writers, videographers, and contractors —briefing, managing timelines, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing for cost‑efficiency.

Leverage GenAI tools

(ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to accelerate content ideation, research, drafting, editing, and optimization.

Experiment with AI‑powered workflows

to improve speed, quality, and scalability—while maintaining editorial standards and brand voice.

Role Requirements

5‑7 years in content strategy, content marketing, or editorial roles

in B2B fintech, payments, or adjacent industries.

Proven ability to write high‑quality content

for technical and executive audiences—including thought leadership, case studies, and sales enablement materials.

Strong project management skills

with experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder content operations and coordinating across internal teams and external partners.

Experience developing and launching content series

(written, video, or multimedia formats) that drive measurable engagement and business outcomes.

Demonstrated expertise using GenAI tools

to enhance content creation and optimization workflows.

Understanding of B2B buyer journeys and content marketing funnels —able to connect content plans to pipeline and revenue outcomes.

Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and contractors —including briefing, quality control, and budget management.

Technical fluency : Comfortable translating complex fintech, payments, and infrastructure concepts into accessible content.

Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail —able to maintain high standards while moving quickly in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.

Compensation

$136,000 - $204,000 a year Salary ranges depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Certain roles may offer additional incentives including equity and bonus. Contact a recruiter for specific details.
