We are seeking a talented Key Account Manager for Turkey, based in Istanbul (Turkey) to join our Sales team at Dayco.

Summary of the position The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and expanding strategic relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers across the country. This pivotal role is responsible for owning and executing the comprehensive sales strategy for our most valuable clients, focusing on sustainable revenue growth, exceptional customer satisfaction, and deep, long-term engagement

Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for a portfolio of high-value Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts to maximize revenue potential and market share.

Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term partnerships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.

Drive aggressive sales growth, improve profitability, and increase market share within the region by optimizing sales channels and team effectiveness.

Drive predictable and accelerated revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, negotiating complex deals, and securing contract renewals and expansions.

Utilize market intelligence to ensure high forecast accuracy, adapting strategies proactively to market shifts and competitive dynamics.

Work closely with marketing, product management, and supply chain teams to ensure regional needs are met and commercial strategies are fully supported.

Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention by acting as a trusted advisor and coordinating internal resources to meet client needs effectively.

Manage the entire sales life cycle from initial contact through closing, ensuring alignment with company goals and targets.

Meet or exceed account growth and retention targets

Act as the primary point of contact for strategic clients, understand their needs and business objectives; provide tailored solutions

Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders

Conduct regular business reviews, performance reporting, and forecasting

Requirements and Skills

Based in Istanbul, Turkey

Minimum 4/5 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably in the Automotive Aftermarket and/or in Turkey.

Fluency in English

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, opportunities and competitive landscape

Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and influence key stakeholders

Strong negotiation and commercial acumen

Strong project management capabilities

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Proven leadership skills to lead business reviews and drive follow-up actions

Demonstrated experience managing a P&L and consistently achieving or exceeding targets

Strong proficiency with commercial systems and sales tools, including: CRM platforms, ERP systems and Sales forecasting & reporting tools (Excel, Power BI or similar).

Solid understanding of key commercial and financial concepts, including: Net Sales (NS), Net Margin (NM) & Contribution Margin (CM), EBITDA, Statement of Work (SOW) and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
