JOB SUMMARY
The Account Executive will utilize value-selling techniques to develop professional relationships with key strategic referral sources in the Chicago area including suburbs and maintain responsibility for sales in that area. This role will be responsible for meeting both revenue and profitability goals for assigned territory. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Perform account planning and sales execution practices to maximize new referral sales for HCD’s accounts as well as high-potential target accounts as identified. Establish and solidify relationships with key contacts at provider offices and peripheral organizations to lock in HCD as the preferred supplier for DME products within our portfolio. Educate and confer with referral sources on HCD as a full solution service in addition to being a supplier of products. Utilize industry knowledge and current news to direct and coordinate sales and marketing activities within the assigned territory. Consult with upper management to develop strategies and achieve sales goals within compliance guidelines. Monitor and report on activities within the market across all channels, and relay material concerns and wins with management and appropriate departments. Work cross-functionally with team members in Marketing, Operations, Payer and other Sales teams to ensure functional effectiveness of business Maintain thorough contact and activity records within HCD CRM system Travel to accounts and targets 75% of the time and maintain close relationships virtually when necessary. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 2 years outside B2B sales experience; Healthcare/HME sales strongly preferred. Track record of success and ability to demonstrate sales growth and quota attainment. Ability to learn multiple product-lines. Proficient in MS Office including, but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook. Due to the nature of the position, clean driving record, reliable transportation, the ability to drive a car and travel each day. Interaction with healthcare providers on site is required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 6-8 hours a day, while working at a computer station. Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using a keyboard, mouse, and other computer peripherals for data entry and communication purposes. Visual Acuity: Ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods, with good visual acuity to read small print and accurately enter data. Hearing: Adequate hearing ability, with or without correction, to understand and respond to customer inquiries via telephone or other audio equipment. Repetitive Movements: Regular use of hands, wrists, and fingers to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and using a mouse.
