We're looking for a OSP Designer II who combines technical precision with a collaborative spirit. You'll work closely with engineers, technicians, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
What You\'ll Do:
Responsible for design and development of mid-level outside plant (OSP) equipment installations, modifications and upgrades. Design of telecommunication Fiber to the Home distribution projects. Prepare site drawings and construction drawings for various telecommunication facilities in a cost-effective manner. Prepare permit drawings as required. Document changes to or modifications of specifications within customers\' system (IQGEO Preferred, or other GIS systems). Interpret codes, standards, requirements, and guidelines to compete assigned projects. Interpret engineering drawings and assisting with layout/design engineering work for construction. You Bring:
Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, telecommunications, or related field. 4+ years of experience in OSP design, with a focus on fiber optic and copper networks. Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software. Knowledge of industry standards and regulation related to OSP design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
