Freedom Home Care LLC, Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, 27601
Benefits
Competitive salary Health insurance Paid time off Business Development Specialist – Triangle Market (Raleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill)
Full-Time | Field-Based | $70,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + Mileage Reimbursement + Health Stipend About the Role
Caring Hands Home Health is looking for a client-facing sales professional ready to take ownership of the Triangle market (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill). As our Business Development Specialist, you’ll be out in the community every day—meeting referral partners, connecting with families, and turning relationships into results. If you thrive on conversation, enjoy being on the road, and know how to close deals while still caring about people, this is the role for you. This position is ideal for someone who’s as comfortable in a networking event as they are sitting across from a family discussing care needs. You’ll represent the Caring Hands brand with professionalism and personality, building lasting relationships that lead to growth. What You’ll Do
Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, senior communities, rehab facilities, and healthcare professionals. Meet directly with potential clients and families to discuss needs, services, and next steps — representing Caring Hands with both confidence and compassion. Represent Caring Hands at community events, client meetings, and networking functions throughout the Triangle. Collaborate with intake, scheduling, and HR to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience. Manage your schedule, outreach, and reporting independently using internal tools and Excel trackers. Identify new growth opportunities and think creatively to expand our referral pipeline. What You’ll Bring
3–5 years of proven success in outside sales, business development, or territory management. Experience in client-facing, relationship-based work — whether in sales, marketing, or professional services. Comfort and confidence meeting people in person and talking about value and pricing. A self-starter mindset with strong follow-through and accountability. Professional polish and excellent communication skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (you’ll be out in the field most days). Who You Are (and Who You’re Not)
✅ A connector, not a complainer. ✅ Someone who thrives on independence but knows how to collaborate. ✅ A relationship-builder who’s unafraid of the word “sales.” Not someone who needs micromanagement or avoids tough conversations. Not someone who blames, gossips, or hides behind email when it’s time to engage. Compensation & Perks
$70,000 annual base salary Uncapped commission on client growth Mileage reimbursement Monthly health stipend toward coverage 401(k) with employer match Paid holidays and PTO Supportive leadership and opportunities for career advancement Why Caring Hands
We’re a people-first agency built on compassion, collaboration, and accountability. You’ll have the independence to build your market — with a leadership team that actually has your back. This is your chance to own the Triangle, build meaningful partnerships, and help families connect with quality care while growing your own success. We’re reviewing applicants as they come in — early applicants will be prioritized for interviews.
