We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement and inventory operations. This in-office role plays a key part in ensuring timely purchasing, accurate inventory tracking, and compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Assist with purchasing pharmaceutical products and medical supplies Create and process purchase orders and track order status Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reorders to prevent shortages Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and deliveries Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records Assist with audits and inventory counts Support the purchasing manager and operations team as needed Flag slow-moving, expired, or recalled products Coordinate orders with approved vendors and wholesalers Check expiration dates, lot numbers, and batch tracking Ensure purchases meet regulatory requirements (FDA, DEA, state boards, GMP, etc.) Prepare basic purchasing and inventory reports Update databases and spreadsheets Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred Previous experience in purchasing, inventory, pharmacy, or healthcare supply chain preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory or ERP systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an office setting Familiarity with pharmaceutical or healthcare terminology is a plus $27/hour starting rate, with negotiable salary based on experience Benefits package may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement options In-office position (remote or hybrid not available) Standard business hours: 9am-5pm (M-TH) 9am-5pm (F)
