Administrative & Marketing Assistant (Student Work‑Study)
The Global & National Security Policy Institute (GNSPI) is a unified center for global security research at the University of New Mexico. GNSPI seeks to improve security policy by educating thoughtful, ethical practitioners across the following focus areas: Critical & Emerging Technology Policy, National Security Strategy & Policy, Intelligence Studies, and Transnational Security Policy.
The role supports the Director and Program Manager with daily administrative tasks and program marketing projects. The position is open for work‑study eligible students currently enrolled in courses for Spring 2026.
Responsibilities
Assist the Director and Program Manager with general administrative tasks
Organize and manage office digital files and database
Support development of marketing projects and create marketing materials
Help maintain the program website and manage social media initiatives
Other duties as assigned

Preferred: Customer service experience
Preferred: Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
