Overview
As an integral member of the Food and Beverage team, the Guest Room Dining Server requires getting everything right the first time, every time; attention to detail, suggestive selling, a friendly phone presence, and impeccable timing. Salary: $17.13/hour This is a Seasonal position with targeted start and end dates: Season Start: February 1 – May 15 Season End: October 31 Hours will fluctuate as business levels rise and fall throughout the season. Provide welcoming phone greeting and follow guest ordering procedures Convey menu information over the phone to guests and give accurate estimate of delivery time Make food and beverage recommendations and apply suggestive selling techniques Deliver food & beverage orders to Guest Rooms Follow procedures for announcing self at the room, entering the guest room, presenting the order and the check Qualifications
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous food & beverage service experience preferred Food Handlers Card & WA State Alcohol Servers Permit certified (or obtain within 30-days of hire) Ability to speak the English language fluently to interact with guests. Good verbal communication skills Ability to analyze guest needs and assist in resolving any and all guests challenges Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods Interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction
