
Powder Coat Painter
The essence of the painter's role is to paint all items going through the powder coat booth, while maintaining a high-quality standard. Responsibilities: Stand and paint all parts for extended times throughout the shift. Recognize paint color extensions. Apply powder coat with good working knowledge. Operate all functions of the Nordson paint booth. Maintain high-quality standards and work in a team-oriented manner. Change a color in one minute and 20 seconds. Paint manually at 10 feet per minute. Maintain 5S in the department. Essential Skills: Previous powder coat experience preferred. High School Degree or GED preferred. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to read prints. Flexible work schedule and ability to work 10 hours a day for a 4-6 month period. Dependable and reliable work schedule. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Prior paint prep experience preferred. Skills in painting, paint prep, masking, taping, metal sanding, sanding, grinder, hand tool, sand. Why Work Here?
