in a patient's lifetime. Your unique talents will help patients on their journey to wellness. Represents Johnson and Johnson Vision Surgical (JJVS) Capital Products to appropriate customer base within a designated geographical area, placing major emphasis on increasing the adoption of equipment that includes LCS, Femto, Excimer, Phaco and Aberrometer technologies with an increased focus on growing the refractive market. Assigned sales goals are achieved through creative, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S. marketing plans. The Capital Sales Specialist provides technical product knowledge and in-service support to ensure customer satisfaction. The Capital Sales Specialist will utilize the local JJVS Account Executive, Key Account Executive, Premium Practice Specialist, and Corporate Accounts Representatives to enhance productivity, create and solidify key relationships, and ultimately enhance the selling process. Works synergistically with all other JJVS sales personnel in co-selling efforts to strengthen JJVS customer value. Will be in the OR roughly 75% of the time working hand-in-hand with Ophthalmologists on surgical technique, efficiency, and all aspect of cataract and refractive surgery with an increased focus on the refractive market to enhance patient safety and to play a key role in getting the surgeon to experience desired outcomes. Complies with required reports and requests. Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives. Essential functions / responsibilities: Responsible for all capital sales of JJSV portfolio and achieving sales quota with an increased focus on refractive equipment and refractive market. Responsible for all aspects of selling phaco, LCS and Refractive Suites with an emphasis on the refractive business, utilizing accessories and disposables with new customers and installed base to position J&J Surgical as the leader in Cataract and Refractive equipment. Provides expert knowledge about products and surgical techniques to potential customers. Teach new and current customers techniques with Refractive Suites, Phaco, and LCS advancing our exposure and market share. Work with DBM, AE, KAE and PPS team to find new leads and close business. Keeps all leads and accounts current in CRM systems (EyeForce) Responsible for facilitating Service Agreements Achieves sales goals on Equipment and Procedures with a focus on the refractive market and products. Qualifications: University/Bachelor's degree A minimum of 3 years medical device sales experience is required A minimum of 2 years of Capital equipment sales experience is required Ophthalmic surgery selling experience is preferred Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
