Parts and Service Sales Representative (PSSR)

Description JOB SCOPE:
As a Parts and Service Sales Representative you will work to promote parts and service solutions within the MTS dealer network with a strong focus on customer up‑time. This position is based in Florida and is responsible for servicing customers across the Southeast sales territory.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with Dealer Sales/Rental, Parts, and Service teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction of MTS Equipment.
Advocate for strong maintenance and inspection practices among customer and dealer fleets.
Focus on revenue generation, downtime management, and overall customer/dealer satisfaction.
Direct communication with dealers and customers to help solve problems and provide up‑to‑date information regarding products.
Maintain in-depth technical knowledge on all products and processes put forth by MTS.
Provide administrative support with Warranty documentation, technical documentation, and other tools used within the department.
Assist with repair and troubleshooting of MTS equipment.
Identify prospective clients' exact needs through questioning and direct observation.
Manage service campaign capture‑rate within assigned dealer territories.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner.
Perform all other duties assigned.
Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
2-year Technical, or Business associate degree is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is desired.
5+ years of technical equipment or manufacturing experience is required.
2+ years of experience working with MTS equipment.
Ability to do minor hands‑on field repairs and troubleshooting with factory input.
Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
Job Specific Capabilities:
Excellent communication abilities and willingness to conduct presentations of products and training in front of large groups.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Up to 90% travel required, primarily within the United States.
Communication – Ability to read, write and speak English. Must be able to articulate ideas and plans and communicate these accurately and effectively to others.
Result Oriented and self‑starter.
Ability to make quick and smart decisions under pressure.
Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
Physical Capabilities:
Hand‑tools Used: Small Hand tools.
Equipment Used: Occasional use of Overhead Cranes.
Lift and or Carry: 21‑50lbs Occasionally.
Sensory: Hearing, Speech, Vision, Tactile.
