Field Sales Representative IV – Arrow Electronics
Richardson RFPD, an Arrow Company, is a specialized electronic component distributor providing design engineers with deep technical expertise and localized global design support for the latest new products from the world’s leading suppliers of RF, Wireless, IoT and Power Technologies.
Primary responsibilities include engaging customers across the Boston/New England markets to create demand for suppliers’ products.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain influential relationships with customers, suppliers and Arrow partners, creating demand for Arrow products by proactively offering engineering and supply chain solutions.
Demand creation and relationship management focused on the technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects. Match solutions to customer business needs, drive new opportunities, and create demand activity using technical resources.
Account management: Initiate and schedule regular visits to customer facilities, sell Arrow’s franchised lines and services, and translate customer needs into Arrow opportunities. Execute solution selling with knowledge of Arrow’s supply chain solutions and design processes, growing profit and maximizing margins with long‑term solutions.
Maintain current product knowledge and technical certifications, attend supplier training events, and keep supplier databases accurate.
Participate in a sales compensation plan with variable OTE tied to sales goals (70/30 split).
Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a 4‑year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
Work Arrangement Fully remote in the Boston or New England territory. Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.
Compensation and Benefits Annual hiring range: $115,800.00 – $235,719.00. Compensation offer may vary based on location, experience, education, and skill level. The ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
