The Regional Sales Associate is an associate-level, growth-oriented sales role responsible for driving new business development while also managing and growing customer relationships across assigned regions. This role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in industrial automation sales by actively opening new accounts, rapidly developing technical product knowledge, and owning those customer relationships as they grow. This is a

hunter-first role , with clear expectations around prospecting and new customer acquisition. At the same time, the Regional Sales Associate is expected to manage and develop customers within the territory that are not designated as strategic key accounts, building repeat business and expanding product adoption over time. The role works closely with Inside Sales, Technical Support, Key Account Manager and senior sales leadership. This role requires strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn quickly. The Regional Sales Associate is expected to rapidly develop a solid understanding of CIMON’s products, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA software, and related industrial hardware, and to become comfortable discussing technical details, system architectures, and application use cases with customers early in the role. Success in this position depends on quickly mastering the technical fundamentals of CIMON’s products and selling based on real product knowledge and application understanding rather than scripted messaging. his is a hybrid role based in Texas that combines remote work with regular in-office collaboration for planning, training, and team alignment. The role supports customers across assigned regions within the United States and requires significant travel for customer visits, partner meetings, and industry events. Key Responsibilities

Actively prospect and develop new OEM, system integrator, distributor, and end-user accounts across assigned regions within the United States. Drive new customer acquisition through outbound outreach, referrals, field activity, and industry events Own and manage customer relationships within the assigned territory, excluding designated key accounts Develop repeat business and expand product adoption within owned accounts Introduce and position CIMON’s PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial hardware solutions against incumbent competitors Work closely with other teams to support demos, evaluations, trials, and project conversions Quickly learn and gain working proficiency in CIMON’s PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial hardware portfolio Develop the ability to explain technical concepts, configurations, and system designs to customers early in the role Translate customer technical requirements into appropriate CIMON solutions with support from technical teams as needed Continuously deepen product knowledge through hands-on learning, training, and real customer interactions Balance new business development with ongoing account management responsibilities Ensure efficient quote handling, follow-up, and opportunity progression Travel regularly within the region to customer sites, partner meetings, and trade shows Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasting in CRM Provide market feedback on competitor activity, pricing pressure, and customer needs Ideal Candidate Profile

Two to five years of B2B sales or business development experience Strong interest in industrial automation, manufacturing, or technical sales Demonstrated ability to prospect, open new accounts, and build relationships Comfort balancing hunting for new business with managing existing customers Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment with regional travel Preferred Background

Experience selling industrial automation products or adjacent technical solutions Exposure to PLC, HMI, SCADA, or industrial hardware markets Experience working with OEMs, system integrators, or industrial distributors Engineering, technical, or industrial background is highly preferred Career Growth and Pathway

This associate-level role is designed as a foundation for long-term sales growth within CIMON. Successful candidates may progress into roles such as Regional Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Channel or Distributor Sales, Vertical Market Sales, and potentially senior sales leadership positions.
