Senior Designer & Video Editor/Motion Designer

This role is based in Omaha, NE. You’ll need to live within 60 miles of Omaha to be considered. Overview Envoy is looking for a seasoned creative who brings strong visual instincts, original ideas, organization, and hands-on expertise in both graphic design, motion design, and video production. This role is for someone who loves crafting smart, engaging work and feels just as comfortable designing a killer slide as they do shaping a story through motion. This is a senior individual contributor role. You’ll be trusted to independently own creative execution across a wide range of client projects, while collaborating closely with a small team that genuinely enjoys working together. Key Responsibilities Design & Creative Development Concept and execute high-quality graphic design across digital, print, presentation, and brand materials Contribute creative ideas early in projects, helping shape look, feel, and storytelling approach for each project Design with a strong understanding of brand voice, audience, and client goals Video Editing & Motion Design Estimate, edit, and produce videos for various marketing projects, social media, internal communications, conference content, and brand storytelling Handle post-production tasks including color correction & grading, audio, pacing, and motion graphics Collaborate with producers, talent, voice artists, vendors, production companies, account team members, and clients to deliver polished, effective video content and creative solutions that meet project goals Stays current with video trends and tools, including emerging platforms, AI-assisted workflows,and best design practices Monitor the work of vendors, videographers, photographers, and freelancers Serve as producer on audio, video, and photography projects Art direct photo/video sessions Help manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables Collaboration & Problem Solving Work closely with internal team members to collaborate, exchange ideas, and solve creative challenges efficiently and thoughtfully while taking and giving constructive feedback Participate in creative brainstorming and contribute ideas that elevate the final work Help troubleshoot production and logistical challenges with practical, creative solutions Quality & Process Maintain a high standard of craft across all deliverables Manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight Ability to keep projects organized and efficiently manage your time Understand when a project requires a high level of refinement and when a lighter approach is appropriate Experience & Skills Senior-level experience in graphic design and video editing, ideally within an agency or client-service environment Strong portfolio demonstrating both design and video work Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects Experience with illustration, animation, and interest in emerging creative tools Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, typography, and visual hierarchy Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Creative thinker with strong instincts and good judgment Curious self-learner, with a steady work ethic Practical problem-solver who balances creativity with budgets and timelines Collaborative, supportive, and comfortable sharing ideas Why This Role Matters This role plays a key part in shaping and evolving Envoy’s creative output.
