Job Description The AML Product Owner 3 profile provides multi‑faceted support for BSA Operations Leadership and Management Team. The role engages key stakeholders to develop business objectives and define product features that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operational, modeling, and compliance programs. As a mid‑tier career path, the Product Owner focuses on cross‑functional program impacts, coordinates across multiple teams to design, develop, document, report, and maintain a strategic roadmap of data and system enhancements, and ensures alignment with bank‑wide priorities.

Duties And Responsibilities

Own product development of at least one core BSA Operations product/application.

Drive and coordinate the product’s end‑to‑end process to communicate impact awareness and gain an understanding of data, technology, modeling, and operational processes.

Facilitate collaboration with key stakeholders to document business objectives, requirements, features, and/or story cards.

Facilitate communication pathways to provide status updates to key stakeholders, including operational managers and cross‑functional executives.

Drive and actively participate in transformational change within BSA Operations project methodologies (agile, hybrid, or waterfall) to expedite value for the BSA/AML and OFAC compliance programs.

Write user acceptance test (UAT) cases and act as liaison between project leads and the testing organization during UAT.

Resolve or, when appropriate, elevate issues to expedite decision‑making.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience.

At least 5 years of experience in risk management, information technology, or business analysis (internships, coursework, or project team membership included).

At least 5 years of product ownership or product management experience with a demonstrated track record of leading product strategy, defining roadmaps, and delivering customer‑centric solutions.

Minimum of 1 year of experience directly supporting BSA/AML and/or OFAC compliance programs, or Fraud, Financial Crimes, and/or Corporate Investigations Programs, or a business analyst / product ownership related role.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with users of varying technical backgrounds and senior management.

Professional Project Management certification or accreditation.

Experience interfacing with all levels of management and examination teams.

Demonstrated success working in a fast‑paced environment and balancing efforts across multiple projects.

Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement with results‑driven experiences.

Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe) – experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

Proven delivery of project deliverables using standard solution development life cycle processes, experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies, and supporting documentation.

Compensation Range The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation may vary and may be above or below the range based on location, experience, and performance.
