Sr. EP Mapping Specialist - CAS, Marquette Join Medtronic as a Senior EP Mapping Specialist and be at the forefront of transforming lives through advanced medical technology! In this dynamic role, you’ll work alongside clinicians, engineers, physicians, and innovators to execute mapping solutions for cardiac and other electrophysiological systems. You will blend technical expertise with a passion for improving patient outcomes and have the opportunity to impact global healthcare directly.

A Day in the Life Remote position: the successful candidate will reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.

Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and related procedures.

Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.

Understand and support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.

Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.

Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager, and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.

Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.

Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.

Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service, and support.

Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to become proficient in the mapping technology.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

Preferred Qualifications

B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or a technical discipline with minimum of four years of work experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.

Proven track record with technical training assignments.

Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.

Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.

Additional Job Requirements

Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.

Clinical Specialists must be within their assigned territory each day to be available for unscheduled needs.

Occasional travel outside of the assigned territory, possibly overnight.

Valid driver’s license.

Must be able to move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard, and mouse, and be visually able to interact with personal computers.

Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day.

Must drive approximately 25–50% of the time within the territory, may require overnight travel.

Benefits & Compensation Competitive base salary: $130,000–$140,000 (USD). Additional compensation includes incentive plans, 401(k) plan with employer match, health, dental, and vision insurance, among other benefits. Detailed benefits information is available on company portal.
