Behavior Intervention Specialist

$38.00 - $44.00 per hour Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized behavioral support to students, both one-on-one and in small groups. Implement research-backed interventions to encourage positive behavior and emotional regulation. Work collaboratively with educators, school leaders, and families to design and assess
Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) . Model effective classroom management techniques and proactive behavior strategies for school staff. Collect and analyze student behavior data to track progress and refine interventions. Participate in IEP meetings, support teams, and crisis interventions when necessary. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with district and state policies. Lead or assist in training staff on behavior management and de-escalation techniques. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or Applied Behavior Analysis. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in Education or Special Education with a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with students who have behavioral and emotional challenges. Required Credentials: Valid Driver's License (front and back). Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (front and back). Social Security Card. College Diploma.
