Intern - Marketing Department
Magna's Body & Chassis team is looking for an Intern to join our marketing department. Your work will include supporting the global marketing & communications functions, including preparing presentations, conducting market analysis, supporting the team with events & video, and supporting internal / employee communications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with corporate, sales, engineering, and divisions to support marketing and communications projects Support the marketing team with trade shows and customer events Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends Manage the MagnaNOW (internal communication tool) by creating and posting content Work with sales, engineering and production divisions on marketing assets Support local video shoots and support in editing Qualifications: Some related experience preferred Education / Experience: High school diploma required Currently attending a 4-year college or university Special Knowledge / Skills: Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology. Professional communication skills (written and verbal) Proficient computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro is a plus Knowledge of Python programming language is a plus Interest in the automotive industry is a plus Physical Demands / Work Environment: Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
