Description The client is seeking a
Corporate Associate
with
2-5 years of relevant experience
to join their
Transactions Practice Group
in
Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or New York . The ideal candidate will work on a variety of corporate matters, including
emerging companies & venture capital (ECVC) financing ,
M&A ,
private equity , and general
corporate counseling
for both publicly and privately held companies, private equity funds, and other investors and entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities
Handle
venture capital/early-stage financings ,
mergers, acquisitions ,
dispositions ,
joint ventures , and other
commercial transactions .
Provide
general corporate counseling
to clients, ensuring strategic guidance for their business and transactional needs.
Work in a
collaborative environment , managing transactions and interacting directly with partners and clients.
Draft sophisticated
transactional documents
and manage projects related to corporate matters.
Develop
client-facing relationships
while supporting long-term corporate practice growth.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience
in
corporate law , with significant exposure to venture capital financing, M&A, private equity, and general corporate counseling.
Strong
document drafting
and
project management skills .
Exceptional
writing and communication skills .
Positive attitude, strong
interpersonal skills , and an
exceptional work ethic .
Comfortable with
direct client interaction
and building relationships with partners.
Must hold a
JD from an ABA-approved law school
and be an active member of the
Bar
in the jurisdiction where the candidate is admitted to practice.
