Job Summary
Provides mid-level Human Resources support, including benefits counseling, processing HR actions, and assisting with new hire orientation and separation processing. Responds to HR inquiries and helps maintain HR records and systems. May serve as Telework/Remote Work Coordinator or Wellness Program Administrator. Responsibilities and Duties
Provide benefits counseling to employees Process HR actions (e.g., FEGLI, FEHB administration) Assist with new hire orientation and separation processing Respond to HR inquiries from employees and management Maintain HR records and systems May serve as Telework/Remote Work Coordinator May serve as Wellness Program Administrator Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field + 3 years relevant HR experience Equivalency: Associate's Degree + 5 years relevant HR experience; OR 7 years relevant HR experience Relevant professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRCI-PHR) is preferred Strong knowledge of federal HR policies and benefits programs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to interpret and apply HR regulations Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite Benefits
