Bay Area Diesel is a locally owned fuel services company providing on-site fueling solutions to commercial and industrial customers throughout the Bay Area. We support construction sites, fleet operations, equipment operators, and generator users who depend on reliable fuel delivery and responsive service. We are growing our outside sales team and are looking for experienced professionals who can succeed in competitive, relationship-driven markets. Position Overview

We are hiring a B2B Diesel Sales Representative to develop new business across the East Bay . This is a field-based outside sales role operating out of our Oakland office , with a clear expectation of in-person prospecting, jobsite visits, and door-to-door outreach . This role sells on-site fueling services , including diesel, unleaded gasoline, DEF, and lubricants. Fuel is delivered through wet hosing or bulk fuel tank fills , depending on customer needs. The sales environment is competitive and relationship-based, requiring persistence and strong customer engagement skills. Key Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new commercial and industrial fuel service customers throughout the East Bay Conduct consistent outside sales and in-person prospecting Build and maintain a strong, well-qualified sales pipeline Sell on-site fueling services for diesel, unleaded gasoline, DEF, and lubricants Develop relationships with construction managers, fleet managers, operations leaders, rental companies, and other fuel decision-makers Identify opportunities to support generator, equipment, and fleet fueling needs Convert greenfield prospects into long-term, recurring customers Coordinate closely with dispatch and operations teams to ensure successful service execution Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, and sales forecasts Grow accounts post-sale through expanded services and increased fuel volume What We’re Looking For

This role is not entry-level . Strong candidates will have: 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience in fuel services, construction services, fleet services, industrial services, or similar environments Proven success selling into relationship-driven and competitive markets Experience breaking into accounts with established incumbent suppliers Comfort with cold outreach, jobsite visits, and field-based prospecting Ability to sell services and solutions , not just price Comfortable navigating organizations and building relationships with operational and leadership-level decision-makers Strong organization, follow-through, and personal accountability Valid driver’s license and ability to work a defined East Bay territory This role is likely not a fit if you are
