to produce Chewy’s highest-visibility and most complex creative projects. You’ll develop the creative direction of new campaigns, manage overlapping lines of content across multiple business units, and lead innovation in how Chewy approaches content creation through advanced post-production workflows and AI tools.

What You’ll Do

Edit and design: Independently edit and animate multiple overlapping, high-visibility projects spanning digital, social, and broadcast platforms. Set creative direction: Define post-production and motion design workflow standards for new content lines, collaborating across Video Editing, Motion Graphics, and AI creative teams. AI Post Content Creation: Leverage emerging AI tools (e.g., generative video, image synthesis, AI-enhanced sound and motion) to improve storytelling and accelerate creative workflows. Develop AI-assisted templates and processes to support scalable content generation. Evaluate and integrate new AI post-production technologies and propose creative applications. Mentor and lead: Guide less experienced editors and motion designers, providing feedback, training, and workshops to elevate team-wide creative skills and ensure consistent visual excellence. Collaborate and communicate: Work directly with senior leaders, Creative Directors, and partners to deliver polished, emotionally resonant content that exceeds expectations. Technical mastery: Engage in all stages of post-production, including color correction, motion graphics, sound design, and final delivery. Cross-functional support: Collaborate with Colorists, Audio Engineers, Producers, and external vendors to ensure all deliverables meet technical and brand standards. Innovation & research: Continuously explore hardware, software, and AI tools that optimize workflow and improve creative output. Quality control: Participate in digital QA to uphold Chewy’s industry-leading production standards. Flexibility & ownership: Anticipate creative pivots and maintain high efficiency in a fast-paced, evolving environment. What You’ll Need

7+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics design. Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Demonstrated experience producing national campaigns, branded content, and social-first storytelling. Advanced understanding of all aspects of Post Production, including video editing, sound design, color grading, and visual effects. Experience (or strong interest) in AI-assisted creative tools for video, image, and motion workflows. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate creative feedback into actionable revisions. Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. A proactive, positive, and collaborative attitude. Willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed. Why You’ll Love It Here
