About High Scale We’re High Scale — a future-focused, data-obsessed agency revolutionizing video advertising on TV and social media. Think Amazon’s obsession with customer experience meets SpaceX’s fearless ambition—that’s the DNA behind everything we do. Our 120-person team of creatives, strategists, and innovators produces thousands of high-impact campaigns weekly for the world’s leading lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and DTC brands. With 50,000 sq. ft. of DTLA studios and a global influencer network, we’re ready to 10x our output in 2026—and we need a Motion Graphics Editor who can turn static assets into kinetic masterpieces and elevate our video content with high-end visual polish.

Why This Role Matters Movement, energy, and visual communication are your playground. As a Motion Graphics Editor, you are the visual alchemist of our post-production team. You bridge the gap between graphic design and video editing, using animation to explain complex product benefits, reinforce brand identity, and keep viewers glued to the screen. In the world of performance marketing, dynamic text and seamless transitions can be the difference between a skip and a sale. If you thrive on creating kinetic typography, stunning visual effects, and fluid motion that drives conversion, this is your launchpad.

What You’ll Do

Design & Animate High-Impact Assets

Create dynamic motion graphics for social media and TV ads, including kinetic typography, logo reveals, lower thirds, and transition effects.

Take static design assets (Ps/Ai) and bring them to life using Adobe After Effects.

Design engaging "explainer" sequences and infographics that visually communicate product USPs.

Elevate Video Edits

Collaborate with Video Editors to layer high-end motion graphics over live‑action footage.

Apply visual effects (tracking, compositing, screen replacements) to enhance production value.

Ensure all graphics align perfectly with the brand guidelines and visual identity of our diverse DTC clients.

Build Scalable Systems (MOGRTs)

Create and optimize Motion Graphics Templates (.mogrt) for use in Premiere Pro, allowing our editing team to scale their output efficiently.

Develop reusable animation libraries and assets to speed up the post‑production workflow.

Innovate Visual Styles

Stay ahead of the curve on motion design trends (e.g., collage style, liquid motion, retro‑tech) and implement them into our campaigns.

Experiment with new plugins and techniques to constantly raise the bar of our visual output.

Who You Are

Strong command of Photoshop and Illustrator for asset preparation.

Performance‑Driven

You understand that motion graphics in advertising must serve a purpose. You know how to use motion to guide the viewer’s eye to the most important information (the CTA).

Organized & Efficient

You keep your project files and pre‑comps meticulous. You know how to structure a project so that other editors can navigate it easily.

You can render fast and manage version control without errors.

Collaborative Communicator

Strong English proficiency is required. You can interpret feedback from Art Directors effectively and explain technical constraints or opportunities clearly.

Perks & Benefits

Growth Opportunities: Influence the visual language of major global brands and lead motion initiatives.

Relentless Innovation Culture: Move fast, test constantly, and collaborate with some of the most creative minds in social media and video production.
