About the Role The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. You will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects.

Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.

Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.

Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.

Decompose complex technical problems into actionable deliverable solutions.

Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

3+ years in cloud computing.

Experience in project management of technical programs.

1+ year of hands‑on experience in Agile and implementation of project management tool sets (Confluence, Jira, RallyDev, VersionOne, Taiga, etc.) and source code management products.

Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of Secret or above.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS experience.

Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.

Strong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices.

Experience applying AWS frameworks like Well‑Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework.

Proven ability to establish technical credibility with engineering teams and senior technical decision‑makers.

Location USA, CO, Denver – $131,200.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually

USA, VA, Arlington – $131,200.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually

USA, VA, Herndon – $131,200.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually

Compensation and Benefits Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
