We are currently partnered with $250B+ AUM Alt Asset Manager looking to expand their operations group by bringing on a Corporate Actions Specialist to join the operations team. This role is critical in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of global corporate actions, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of voluntary and mandatory events. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of relevant experience and a proven ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate operational risk and maximize value for our global client base. Key Responsibilities

Event Lifecycle Management

Oversee the end-to-end processing of all global corporate action events, including dividends, mergers, tender offers, rights issues, stock splits, and proxy voting. Interpret and validate complex announcements from multiple sources, including custodians, depositories, and market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, DTCC). Manage the full lifecycle from announcement capture through to entitlement distribution, reconciliation, and cash movement. Act as the primary liaison with custodians, external fund administrators, and internal investment teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure operational accuracy. Collaborate across the firm to facilitate Proxy Voting and ensure strict adherence to the firm’s Proxy Policy. Monitor and facilitate the settlement of private credit securities and investments held at transfer agents, issuers, and private companies. Risk & Financial Integrity

Reconcile entitlements, positions, and cash movements related to complex events. Identify and escalate potential risks, discrepancies, and exceptions in a timely manner. Partner with internal and external teams to ensure accurate P&L reporting by determining taxability and optimal processing strategies. Process Optimization & Mentorship

Lead process improvement initiatives, workflow optimization, and technology enhancements. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members to foster a culture of technical excellence. Prepare periodic reports and management information (MI) on corporate action events and key risk metrics. Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 5–7 years of direct corporate actions experience within an asset manager, investment bank, or custodian. Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of global equity and fixed-income corporate actions and international market practices. Technical Proficiency: Mastery of industry platforms: DTCC, Euroclear, Clearstream, Bloomberg, and SWIFT. Advanced MS Excel skills. Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong risk awareness, and the ability to interpret complex legal and financial documentation. Preferred Qualifications

Systems: Experience with corporate action technology platforms (e.g., FIS XSP/CAMS) and reconciliation/accounting tools (e.g., Advent Geneva). Proxy Systems: Familiarity with Broadridge products such as ProxyEdge and Proxy Disclosure. Front Office Exposure: Prior experience directly supporting Portfolio Managers and Front Office stakeholders.
