Overview Tiek Design Group is a rapidly growing residential design firm located in the heart of Silicon Slopes that develops the art of authentic craftsmanship. Our homes are carefully crafted with each element working together to tell a cohesive architectural story through the architecture, interior architecture, and interior design. We form meaningful relationships with our clients that inform a design narrative grounded in context as we style traditional, timeless details and create enduring, inheritable homes.

THE RIGHT FIT

You care deeply about classical, timeless design and built results. You're passionate about developing your skills across interiors, architecture, and the construction process.

Your portfolio showcases your ability to create an emotional impact that resonates with clients and reflects their feelings.

You guide the whole interior design process. You thrive when you're training and supporting the interior design team. You naturally find ways to improve yourself and help the team do even better.

You work closely with clients and team members to design interiors that create a genuine, authentic experience consistent with the exterior.

You excel at the creative design process and at working out all the technical details.

You're friendly and confident when working with clients. You easily build personal connections with each client. You partner with them and also guide them with your knowledge and skill.

You pick up on client needs and leadership cues, even when unspoken

You’re confident, secure, and ego-free. You're comfortable taking direction, even when it shifts, and you don’t take changes personally.

You stay calm under pressure and can steady fast-moving or emotionally intense environments. You’re good at choosing when to speak up and when to step back.

You can gracefully pivot with evolving creative direction and know how to develop and implement a vision, even when it’s not fully defined at the start.

You take proactive initiative and follow through without being pushy. You don't need rigid structures to perform well.

WHAT YOU'LL DO You’ll partner closely with the Principal and Project Managers to shape the home’s interior from cabinetry to color, lighting to layout, so every detail feels like a natural extension of the program, the architecture, and the client’s emotional story.

You’ll lead the interiors team with clarity and care: setting direction, giving feedback, and empowering designers to grow in both skill and confidence. You’ll help the team stay on track with design milestones, working with Project Managers to deliver thoughtful work on time.

You’ll bring ideas to life through design studies, hand sketches, mood boards, and interior detail plans. You’ll select and specify materials that are as durable and functional as they are beautiful, from soft furnishings to hard finishes.

You’ll present your work to clients with warmth and purpose, guiding them through decisions while honoring their vision. You’ll ensure that what’s selected is sourced, ordered, and installed in a way that protects the integrity of the design.

You’ll mentor junior designers, helping them grow their capabilities and careers. You’ll hold the team to a high standard, but trust them to make good decisions—and you’ll lead by example in how to work collaboratively, calmly, and creatively, even when timelines shift or challenges arise.
