Prestigious global Law Firm client is seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Los Angeles office. This role is integral to our California, US and global marketing teams, and is focused on supporting and elevating a wide range of marketing and business development initiatives, with an emphasis on digital marketing projects. You will report to the Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of US Marketing & Business Development. You will actively work with our east coast and London-based digital team. This is deemed hybrid and expected to be in the office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
Campaigns and Communications: Assist in planning, executing and distributing digital campaigns.
Content creation: Create and draft content for internal communications and external channels (social media, website, email) to promote wins, initiatives and campaigns.
Branding and Design: Help develop, design and edit visually compelling, on-brand marketing materials, such as client alerts, invitations, sponsorship ads, social media assets, brochures, event collateral, newsletters and presentations.
Website content: Maintain and update content on the firm’s website.
Brand consistency: Help ensure content across the firm is on-brand.
Tracking and Analytics: Research, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance using data-driven insights to optimize outcomes.
Email marketing: Improve email marketing performance using CRM (InterAction), email management system (Vuture) and analytics from social media and website traffic.
SEO/SEM: Support SEO and SEM initiatives to improve visibility and engagement.
Industry awareness: Stay informed on digital marketing trends and share innovative ideas.
Event Support: Coordinate logistics for events, sponsorships, and client receptions, such as invitations, RSVPs, registration, materials, branding and vendor coordination.
CRM collaboration: Create and update mailing lists, liaise regularly with CRM team and provide guidance and best practices to troubleshoot and ensure team is best leveraging CRM.
On-site event support: Provide on-site support for events, including early mornings or evenings as needed.
Research and profile-raising: Conduct research on clients, competitors and industry trends to support pitches, RFPs and marketing initiatives.
Directory and awards: Assist with directory and award submissions, promoting recognitions and updating profiles.
Administrative Projects: Track, coordinate, and calendar marketing projects, campaigns and BD activities. Assist with onboarding and training of marketing and business development team members regarding marketing technology software, processes and systems. Support various marketing and business development projects as required.
Key Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
2-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in a law firm, financial services or professional services environment.
Preferred technical proficiency
Strong digital and software skills, including:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Web-based skills
Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms
HTML/CSS
Social media (LinkedIn, Instagram)
Customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Familiarity with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, AI tools, podcast recording and experience with editing videos/podcasts are a plus.
