
We are seeking a
Product Designer – Specialized II
to support seasonal product development, focusing on
basketball uniforms and travel systems . This role involves
research, ideation, engineering, and development
of performance-based products from concept through retail, while ensuring quality, budget, and confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development : Support product development from
concept to retail ; contribute to ideation and innovative, performance-driven solutions; collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors; apply consumer, business, and performance insights to elevate concepts; engineer, prototype, and iterate designs independently. Research & Engineering : Generate insights using research methodologies; translate findings into actionable design and engineering solutions;
Experiment with materials, construction, and manufacturing techniques ; participate in cross-functional projects with product teams and vendors; support project execution within budget; maintain confidentiality throughout product lifecycle. Communication : Prepare reports, presentations, and design documentation; present concepts and findings to the team. Required Skills & Qualifications
2–4 years of product design experience Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Keynote Highly collaborative, proactive, and adaptable Strong ability to take direction and respond constructively to feedback Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CLO (3D apparel design) Knowledge of apparel construction, material creation, and performance product development Ability to manage design solutions within budget constraints Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but alternatives accepted: PhD or Law degree + 1 year experience Master’s degree + 0–3 years experience Associate degree + 1–3 years experience High school diploma + 3–5 years experience About BrickRed Systems
