Tiber Health Innovation (THI) is a leader in healthcare education with specific expertise in data & analytics for medical school. THI is partnered with Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU), which has 15 programs, including an LCME accredited medical school. THI created and provides on-going support for a predictive analytics platform that estimates the probability of students passing licensure exams. THI and PHSU together create an innovative, scalable medical education platform with predictive capabilities. For more information about THI, please visit: https://www.tiberhealth.com/ THI is seeking a St. Louis-based Partner Support Specialist to assist PHSU faculty, teaching assistants, and staff with instructional delivery to our university partner students around the country. The Partner Support Specialist will work directly with IT staff & contacts at THI’s university partners to prepare graduate-level courses for each semester, which entails managing multiple instances of Canvas LMS.
Responsibilities
Distance Learning
Serve as a broadcast manager of Zoom-based In-Class Sessions to students in classrooms & at home
Communicate with THI’s University Partners’ staff on a daily basis about Zoom sessions
Start & troubleshoot Zoom broadcasts
Aggregate student questions on Chat and notify Instructor when appropriate
Educational Technology
Provide support for instructional activities that use technology
Manage alignment between multiple courses across multiple universities
Provide faculty and student training on all digital platforms, such as Canvas LMS, ExamSoft, etc.
Assist faculty with preparation and application of technology used to support teaching & learning / the curricular materials
Help solve faculty and student educational technology & IT issues, including working with the Ponce-based IT department to resolve account setup, emails, etc.
Support the creation of weekly reports and analytics on student performance to provide early alerts for potential at-risk students
Edit video and audio files to support instruction
University Partner Support
Help partner university technology teams and registrar offices with setup of all technology-related requirements for the MSMS program
Support new partner university technology implementation projects
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent education/experience; Master’s Degree in instructional design, education technology, or related field preferred
Minimum five (5) years of professional experience
Experience working in the higher education field is highly preferred
Experience using Zoom is required
Preferred
Experience using Canvas LMS is highly preferred
Experience using Microsoft Teams is highly preferred
Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing software is highly preferred
Experience using Kaltura Video Hosting System is preferred
Experience using ExamSoft is preferred
Experience using Analytics for interpreting educational patterns is preferred
Experience teaching to college level students / adults is preferred
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), presentation, planning and organizational skills
Masterful attention to detail and proven project management
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Ability to identify and propose new processes and procedures
Demonstrated ability to take the lead and work against resistance to accomplish goals
Ability to collaborate effectively on large scale projects with staff at all levels in a university or corporate setting
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
This position will report to THI’s Director of Partner Technical Operations.
This is a full-time contracted position at 32 hours per week for 6 months, ending June 30, 2026. This temporary position can convert to a full-time 40 hrs/week FTE position at the end of the contract if both parties agree.
This position requires on-site work at the address below four days per week most weeks with occasional five days per week, based on the weekly schedule. Hours may vary day-to-day depending on instruction. Broadcast schedule for the semester will be provided.
