You will work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure all designs meet the highest standards for quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Utilize advanced software and tools for effective truss system design and drafting. Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create compliant truss designs that adhere to industry standards and local building codes. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to grasp project needs and constraints. Conduct load calculations to ensure truss systems can support expected stresses. Prepare detailed truss layout drawings, along with specifications and materials lists. Review and modify designs in response to feedback from stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation of all truss designs. Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in truss design. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. Demonstrated experience as a Truss Designer in the construction sector. Proficiency in truss design software is essential. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to precision. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting project deadlines.
