Key Responsibilities: Utilize advanced software and tools for effective truss system design and drafting. Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop compliant truss designs adhering to industry standards and local building codes. Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and limitations. Conduct thorough load calculations to ensure truss systems accommodate expected stresses. Prepare detailed truss layout drawings, alongside specifications and materials lists. Review and revise designs to incorporate feedback from stakeholders. Maintain organized documentation of all truss designs. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in truss design. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Truss Designer in the construction industry. Proficient in truss design software. Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting project deadlines.
