Loan Origination System Developer and Administrator

Join our fantastic team and enjoy the flexibility of remote work! Your Responsibilities Include: Enhancing mortgage workflows while ensuring compliance with regulations. You will configure business rules, develop custom plugins, and integrate third-party systems to bolster operational efficiency for the mortgage lending division. Analyze system configurations to recommend optimizations and maintain established development standards. As the subject matter expert on requirements, you will take ownership of the artifacts produced during the solution development lifecycle. All tasks must align with company policies, investor guidelines, and applicable state and federal laws. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Expertise in developing and maintaining Encompass platform features, including business rules, input forms, custom fields, and automated workflows. Proficient in building custom plugins and console application solutions using Encompass APIs and languages including VB.NET and C#. Experience with API integrations for services like credit, title, and VOE/VOI systems. Ability to ensure all system configurations and updates adhere to current regulatory requirements. Skilled in gathering business requirements, creating use cases, and tracking them to deliver high-quality solutions. Collaborate effectively with business analysts, loan officers, and stakeholders to understand and address business needs. Conduct monthly reviews of system performance metrics related to Encompass Connects. Coordinate with business partners for updates and system customizations. Manage system performance, verify configurations, and resolve Tier-3 system issues. Handle administrative tasks relating to maintenance, user access rights, and software upgrades while ensuring compliance with security best practices. Provide exceptional end-user support, troubleshoot system issues, and oversee system updates. Participate in the evaluation of software upgrades for potential departmental impact. Maintain documentation for standards, processes, and procedures. Support autonomous work on large-scale projects, enhancing existing production systems. What You Should Bring: A strong understanding of loan origination processes, with proficiency in programming languages (VB.NET, JavaScript, C#, HTML, CSS). Experience with Azure servers and tools for code deployment. Familiarity with Encompass Loan Origination System features like Partner Connect, TPO Connect, and Developer Connect. Experience with development tools such as Postman and Microsoft Visual Studio. Knowledge of business analysis processes and relational databases. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or information systems is required, although equivalent work experience may be considered. A minimum of two years of experience with the Encompass system is required, while experience with other loan origination systems may suffice for highly qualified candidates.
