Responsibilities
Handling of contract and related form requests on behalf of the team as required, including licensing for relationships between an insurer and their producers (GA’s, brokers, etc.), test agreements, trial licenses, NDAs, Master Services Agreements, vendor affiliation and others
Accelerate the customer contracting process, in coordination with sales, product, and legal – including new contracts, amendments, pilots, etc.
Ability to work across multiple parts of the organization to address customer questions or issues.
Generate professional customer proposals designed to articulate custom, compelling value propositions
Support AE’s as needed on customer calls or visits to gauge satisfaction in usage of products and to understand new opportunities for growth
Resolve customer inquiries related to billing and invoicing, contracts, setup etc.
Oversee, manage, and resolve customer inquiries related to billing and invoicing, contracts, setup etc., either directly or through influencing of internal parties
Post contract processing for booking of deal, notifications to product and sales teams, etc.
Periodic reviews of volume commitment‑based contracts to ensure usage is on track for attaining volume commitments, and manage the overage process once volumes are attained and monthly billing should occur through end of contract term.
Partner with product and sales to evaluate customer usage reports designed to evaluate customer satisfaction and selling renewal strategies
Seek out and share opportunities to develop new or improved sales operational efficiencies and/or best practices
Liaise with marketing and account executive teams to strategize and execute on account‑based nurture campaigns
Leverage internal and external sources of information to identify triggers for customer cross‑sell / up‑sell opportunities
Help inform and execute on large, growth‑targeted customer renewal strategies
Lead tactical sales opportunities as required
Support sales leadership pipeline management through salesforce.com reporting
Qualifications
5 or more years’ experience and successful track record in a consultative, team‑based sales and/or service environment, exceeding external and internal customer expectations.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a four‑year college or university or equivalent work experience.
Exceptionally detail oriented with the ability to work effectively under pressure and multi‑task to meet established deadlines and standard response times with clients.
Ability to effectively analyze and solve complex problems by balancing detailed questions with creative solutions.
Ability to handle multiple complex tasks or projects, prioritize and organize and take lead as necessary.
Exceptional communication skills – verbal, writing and listening – and the ability to communicate simple and complex ideas.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
Solid understanding of the P&C industry a plus – Personal and Commercial lines underwriting, product development, or marketing experience an even bigger plus.
Business Case development a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.com.
Ability to travel as needed in the US.
