We’re hiring a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the data pipelines and system integrations that support our marketing, sales, and operational systems. About the Role

We’re hiring a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and system integrations that support our marketing, sales, and operational systems. This is a hands-on role focused on connecting WordPress, CRM platforms, analytics platforms, and customer ERP systems using modern automation tools like n8n and AI-assisted workflows. You will turn fragmented systems and datasets into reliable, scalable data flows that enable better visibility, attribution, and decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely to real business outcomes, understands how data impacts growth, and wants to reduce manual work through thoughtful automation. Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain integrations between: WordPress (custom plugins, REST APIs, metadata, structured data) Zoho One applications (CRM, Analytics, Creator, Books, Campaigns) Analytics and tracking systems (GA4, GSC exports, attribution data) Customer ERP systems with inconsistent schemas and APIs Develop and manage automation workflows using

n8n Leads, customers, and lifecycle stages Content, page-level, and performance data Attribution, conversion, and engagement metrics Normalize and transform data across systems for reporting and automation Implement validation, error handling, logging, and monitoring for all workflows Support data needs for marketing, SEO, sales, and operations teams Automation, Analytics & AI Automate ingestion and transformation of marketing and performance data Use AI tools to classify, enrich, or summarize incoming records Detect anomalies or quality issues in datasets Reduce manual review and cleanup work Identify opportunities to replace spreadsheet-driven processes with automation Improve reliability and latency of business-critical data flows Document data flows, assumptions, and dependencies clearly Explain technical systems in practical, non-academic terms Collaborate with SEO, marketing, and operations stakeholders to design solutions Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis Location

Starting at

$60,000+

, based on experience (Higher compensation available for strong automation and integration experience) Requirements

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in data engineering, automation engineering, or systems integration Strong experience working with APIs, webhooks, and event-driven systems Experience building and maintaining automation workflows (n8n or similar) Comfort working with marketing, analytics, and operational data Ability to work with imperfect, real-world datasets and make them usable Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

WordPress

beyond basic theming (metadata, custom fields, APIs) Familiarity with

SEO, analytics, or attribution data

(GA4, GSC, page-level metrics) Experience with
