Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Commercial Analytics, the Analyst will work to enable the success of the US commercial teams by informing better decision-making. The incumbent will leverage expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining and data presentation to develop and socialize analysis in areas such as customer targeting, program metric development and measurement, revenue forecasting, marketing investment allocation and effectiveness, market data management and analysis, and the modeling of long-range strategic planning inputs. Collectively, these will shape strategic thinking, leading to tangible P&L impacts and contribute to increased transparency, accountability, efficiency, and control in supporting the commercial decision-making process, program execution and development of business intelligence. Translating insights gathered from disparate data sources into user-friendly dashboards will be a critical output of the role. Responsibilities

Leads specification gathering by eliciting requirements and discovering the underlying business needs and information related to the product and project needs through conversations with key stakeholders, including Sr. Leadership and Global Operations. Organizes and models the requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous. Maps the requirements to the deeper business need and gains approval from all relevant stakeholders by meeting essential quality standards. Communicates results to key stakeholders in Sr. Commercial Leadership up to and including the President of the Americas, making informed business decisions by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations for reporting. Drives data provision, in partnership with key stakeholders, to input monthly, quarterly, and annual activities such as market data analysis, quarterly revenue forecast reviews, consumer rebate and fit set performance assessment, marketing program reviews and input into the annual and long-range strategy planning processes. Collaborates with Executive Sales, Corporate Account, Marketing and Finance Leadership to support their teams in all aspects of analysis, report development, KPIs/dashboards and Business Intelligence from a revenue, customer, pricing, program performance and margin/profitability perspective. Builds a deep knowledge of the contact lens category and CVI’s US business, through the analysis of available data and partnership with Marketing and Finance teams, to shape the development and execution of commercial imperatives. Works cross-functionally to facilitate the integration of data from various sources (Baan, Oracle, Global Datawarehouse, Tableau, Cognos, Salesforce, third party vendor data, etc.) to better enable data sharing and analysis. Champions the creation, maintenance, and socialization of data visualization dashboards for the Commercial team. Creates KPI dashboards that show performance vs. objectives and associated ROI for key brand/customer marketing programs (channel/product-based promotions, consumer rebates, customer summit meetings, etc.), and provides recommendations to enhance current program performance and inform new program design. Partners with the Professional Affairs team to develop metrics, gather data and report on Professional Affairs-sponsored events to establish, communicate and manage KPIs. Involves use of other relevant data sources to generate dashboards and other relevant reporting formats. Determines ROI from events and conferences. Informs and educates business leaders about the current marketplace and potential threats entering the marketplace. Spearheads inbound Salesforce Reporting requests from Brand, Corporate Accounts, Customer Marketing, Professional Affairs, and the Sales Organization. Provides a variety of reports based on KPI Dashboards, Program Reporting, Specific Role Targeting, Target List Generation, Email Campaigns, and Call Target Reporting. Informs the creation of targeting lists for brand and customer new product launches and marketing programs, and provides analytics on the execution and tracking of those programs. Partners with Digital Marketing, Commercial Operations, and IT to ensure data hygiene and maintenance activities occur to enable execution of the marketing data analysis responsibilities outlined above. Conducts training with internal partners on internal business systems, reporting tools, and anticipated future reporting needs to facilitate departmental cross-functionality. Creates specific ad hoc report templates for internal partners to refresh and become more self-sufficient in working with data. Attends and presents, as required, at Marketing, Sales, and Commercial Leadership meetings. Collaborates with Sr. Commercial Leadership to develop data and insights to be used in presentations at Americas Leadership meetings. Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Solid knowledge and direct experience using business intelligence reporting tools (Cognos, Tableau) and statistical software Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, etc.). Superior Excel skills (macros, lookups, sum if, pivot tables, data cleansing, complex link files, building charts and graphs, sorting, and filtering data) Experience using Salesforce (or other similar CRM tool) to establish reporting and extract insights that will enable Executive Leadership to make actionable decisions Demonstrated competency in demographical analysis including creation of heat mapping Experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets, a plus. Executive level communication proficiency (oral & written) — ability to distill complex data and provide actionable insights Presentation skills, including ability to succinctly summarize key findings and effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Logical and organized with the ability to work accurately under time pressure and meet deadlines, working both independently and as part of a team—able to prioritize and multi-task Demonstrated influencing and collaboration skills; ability to build effective relationships and partner with diverse, remote, and cross-functional teams inside & outside of CVI required Willingness to challenge the status quo, creative problem thinking, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team, and looking for ways to improve on current practices Ability to quickly learn and utilize third party data systems, dashboards, portals Work Environment

Office-based, possible travel (less than 5%) to other CVI locations, customer sites and industry events. Sedentary to light physical effort necessary to perform the job. There will be extended periods of sitting and using a computer. Experience

5+ year experience in Commercial and/or financial analytics. Experience in the vision care category or a similar B2B2C environment would be a plus. Education

A Bachelor’s degree in related field (business/management/economics/marketing) and demonstrable professional experience in data analytics and financial analysis. For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $92,700.00 and $120,000.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
