The Origination Analyst supports origination efforts by analysing and executing potential commercial real estate debt transactions. This role works closely with senior originations, legal, and credit professionals, and interacts with potential borrowers and brokers to assist in sourcing, evaluating, and structuring new debt investment opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day origination deal flow across assigned origination relationships. Proactively manage workflow related to the initial evaluation and structuring of potential lending opportunities. Participate in production meetings with the origination team and senior management to discuss deal status, deal flow, and market conditions. Provide proactive relationship and customer support to covered accounts and transaction partners. Evaluate debt offering memorandums for commercial real estate transactions. Research real estate and economic market data to support investment decision-making. Prepare deal summaries, including complex real estate financial models, and present findings to origination team leaders and senior management. Coordinate and manage external due diligence resources and information sources. Assist underwriting, legal, asset management, and other teams with due diligence, securitisation, and related activities as required. Experience Requirements
1–3 years of commercial real estate or financial analysis experience. Elementary knowledge of real estate, mortgage, accounting, and finance principles. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise deadlines. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and communication skills. Ability to interface effectively with clients, including senior executives. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach. Education & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Intermediate working knowledge of Outlook and Excel. Working knowledge of economic and real estate market information sources.
