Job Responsibilities

Respond to internal and external inquiries per department policies and procedures.

Resolve file issues, coordinating with underwriting, compliance, or other business partners.

Answer questions on all phases of the correspondent loan process and provide exceptional customer service.

Manage the pipeline for the assigned region, ensuring completion of daily tasks before end of day.

Identify potential issues for the correspondent through proactive questioning and use of loan process intuition.

Provide training and support for file delivery.

Conduct new client onboarding calls and assist clients as they begin delivering loans to Plaza Home Mortgage.

Assist with additional assigned duties such as reporting and other departmental tasks.

Support other regions and departments when needed; accompany assigned Account Executives on client visits.

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent required; prior customer‑service/client‑facing experience preferred.

Experience in cooperative loans strongly preferred; experience in correspondent lending or secondary marketing preferred.

Working knowledge of all aspects of loan processing.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail; ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize in a high‑volume environment.

Solid commitment to customer and associate service with outstanding interpersonal, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook), internet browsers, and basic mortgage banking concepts.

Knowledge of loan programs and services, including Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, and understanding of industry regulations and company policies.

Ability to use independent judgment within written policy and standard operating procedures to monitor and oversee loan production pipelines.

Must work both remotely and on‑site as required by the company; remote workers must have a private designated workspace free from distraction.

Some travel by car or plane may be required.

Work Environment This is a remote position. The working hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Eastern Time and must be observed regardless of location.

Compensation & Benefits Estimated rate of pay: $25.00 per hour.

Position is full‑time and non‑exempt. Final offers are based on skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job‑related factors.
